“One World . . . One Dream” Drawing Competition
In partnership with the Bahraini Association for Parents and Friends of the Disabled (BAPFD) and the Ministry of Education, Freedom House launched a drawing competition targeting students from public and private high schools under the slogan, "One World...One Dream." Often only those who have disabled family members are aware of or involved in special needs issues. The purpose of the competition was to engage and to inform broader Bahraini society, particularly youth, on special needs issues.
Fifty students from twenty different public and private schools submitted drawings. Twelve drawings were selected for their creativity in conveying a special needs issue.
