Training Course on Improving Women’s Performance in the Kuwaiti National Assembly: Workshop Two

The objective of the second three-day civil society training course was to raise the level of awareness and improve the political performance of Kuwaiti women.Lawyers, scholars and women's rights advocates presented working papers on the family law and its impact on women's rights in Kuwait, the obstacles to progress at the parliamentary level, and the media's role in conveying the performance and activities of the government and the National Assembly.
