AED Second Regional Leadership Training Workshop

A delegation of female lawyers from Saudi Arabia traveled to Jordan to enhance their professional skills and network with colleagues at a regional workshop hosted by the Academy for Educational Development's Women in Law Program. Freedom House's Family Law Program sponsored their participation in the workshop, which convened women legal professionals from across the Middle East. The attorneys participated in a mock trial, received training on entrepreneurial skills and leadership development, and met with a representative of the Office of the High Commissioner for Human Rights as well a prominent female judge in Jordan. The Women in Law Program is managed by the Academy for Educational Development with support from the U.S. Department of State.
