Regional Workshop on Women's Rights and Personal Status Law

In Kuwait, the Women Cultural and Social Society and Freedom House organized a regional workshop on Women's Rights and Personal Status Law for a group legal experts, Shari'a scholars, and academics from Kuwait, Bahrain, Saudi Arabia, Morocco and Qatar. The workshop aimed at exchanging experiences in the field of women's rights and personal status with the participants, and draw up a methodological plan for a study being prepared by women's NGOs in Kuwait and Bahrain.
